4. Regulatory status

MAEDN AG is currently developing a broker platform/software for the exchange between fiat currencies and digital assets, with a focus on stablecoins. The platform is not yet publicly available and is not currently offered for live transactions. Planned completion is Q4 2026, subject to technical, operational and regulatory readiness.

MAEDN AG is not a bank licensed by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and does not currently hold a FINMA licence as a securities firm, fund management company, financial institution or DLT trading facility. Under Swiss law, the commercial exchange of fiat currencies and crypto-assets may, where applicable, become subject to the Swiss Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) and require affiliation with a recognised self-regulatory organisation (SRO) or, depending on the scope of the activity, additional FINMA authorisation. MAEDN AG is building its operational and compliance framework with these requirements in mind.

Nothing on this Website should be understood as a representation that MAEDN AG already provides regulated financial services, that it is licensed, supervised or affiliated with an SRO, or that any service is currently available to clients.
